October 2009

The Appraisal Fair is already a success! We have many pre-registrations and are still accepting forms.  But, given the late date (as the event is this Saturday) you will need to come out to the museum to pre-register.  You may pick up a form at the museum, or click the link below to download a form and deliver it to the museum with payment.  Multiple appraisers have filled up, so if you want a guaranteed time slot, pre-registration is a must.  Please call the museum with any additional questions.

We have received many phone calls regarding the Appraisal fair, and we are still accepting pre-registrations. Follow this link to download a form. Mail the form with payment, and you will receive an appointment time with a specific appraiser!  For additional questions, please call 913-573-5002.  http://www.wycokck.org/Dept.aspx?id=22022&menu_id=1012&banner=15284.

The Wyandotte County Museum and Archives will be closed on Saturday, October 24 due to a Cross-Country event which shuts down access to the Wyandotte County Park . We will continue this week with our regular hours on Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 pm.

Tonight is a benefit for the Wy Co Historical Society at the local KCK Wheat State Pizza. 15% of every purchase will go to the Historical Society, so if you are hungry and craving some good pizza pie, head on down to 612 N. 5th St on Strawberry Hill.     www.wheatstatepizza.com
