May 2009

Tomorrow is the last day of our special exhibition, Mugged: A Rogue’s Gallery from the National Archives.  This popular exhibit will be missed! If you haven’t seen it yet, you have 2 days to do so. Saturday we are open from 9am to 12 noon, so be sure to give yourself enough time to walk around before the gallery closes.

Next week a temporary exhibition featuring the work from the Wyandot Art Association will be installed in conjunction with the 150th celebration taking place next weekend on June 6-7.

Thanks again to our friends at the Kansas City Kansan, who posted a story regarding the upcoming 150th celebration on June 6 and 7.  For the story, which includes additional activites in June, click this link:

Here is a link to the this mornings performance of Hardtack. The link should connect to KMBCs website.

KMBC 005Brenda Washington is currently in the building….the local music group, HardTack is performing in the auditorium and information regarding the 150th Celebration on June 6-7 will be highlighted in a local spot. HardTack will be one of the performers that you can see on Saturday June 6! KMBC has linked our blog to their website and coverage filmed at the museum today should be online. Once it is, I will link to that as well.
